Years
of research and development at the top level have led to the
introduction of the Dominator S series, the most simple and
effective cross country racing glider system today. The S series
consists of six waxes, three for new snow (NS1, NS2, and NS3)
and three for old snow (OS1, OS2, and OS3). All waxes are pre-mixed
and contain synthetic hydrocarbons, fluorinated additives, and
antistatic compounds designed to address all three friction
components: wet friction, dry friction and electrostatic friction.
Their temperature ranges are well defined --S1 for -12ºC(10ºF)
and colder, S2 for -5ºC to
-12ºC (23ºF to 10ºF), and S3 for -5ºC(23ºF) and warmer-- and
there is no mixing involved. Simply pick the temperature range
(S1, S2 or S3) depending on the actual snow temperature, and
then use the NS version for natural or manmade snow up to two
days old, or the OS version for older snows. Apply the chosen
wax to a clean base, scrape and brush. Do not use any prep layers
or other additive waxes; the S series have been designed to
work alone. Available in 40g (1.4oz) and 100g (3.5oz) packages.
