THE DOMINATOR 4 X 4 SYSTEM is designed for full speed in all conditions, for events where hundredths of a second make a difference. It provides unparalleled performance but requires fairly detailed knowledge of the snow conditions. This is typically used at the top levels of competition where technicians arrive days before the event. If your typical contest involves waxing on Friday night at home with limited information on snow conditions, then racing on Saturday, our Zoom series thermoactive waxes are the best match for you. The four colors of the 4x4 system (white, turquoise, pink, and yellow) indicate the hardness of the wax, and each color is available in four fluoro levels corresponding to different amounts of moisture in the snow. There are also two series of antistatic additive waxes, one for old snow and one for new snow. Three snow variables influence wax selection: hardness, moisture content and age. The hardness determines the color of the wax, the moisture content the fluoro level, and the age (new or old snow) the type of antistatic wax. The wax of choice is always a mixture of an antistatic wax and a color wax and selection is guided by the Virtual Technician
